MedLadder ("we", "our", "us") provides an online question bank and practice platform for FMGE, NEET PG, INI-CET and NEET SS exam preparation. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: When you sign in with Google or another method, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo (if available).
• Usage data: We record your quiz attempts, scores, subject-wise progress, and study activity so we can show you performance analytics.
• Payment information: If you purchase a Pro subscription, payment is processed by our payment provider (Razorpay). We do not store your card or UPI details.
• Technical data: Basic device and browser information, and log data, collected automatically to keep the service secure and working correctly.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and authenticate you securely.
• To provide and improve the quiz, PYQ bank, and progress-tracking features.
• To process payments and activate/manage Pro access.
• To communicate important updates, such as changes to the service or your account.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers that help us operate MedLadder, such as our authentication provider (Google), backend/database provider (Supabase), and payment processor (Razorpay).
• Legal authorities, only if required by law.

4. Analytics & Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use MedLadder and to improve the Service. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages visited, time spent, and general device/browser data. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices via our database provider. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

6. Your Choices

• You can access and update your basic account details from within the app.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (see below).
• You can revoke MedLadder's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions page.

7. Children's Privacy

MedLadder is intended for medical students and graduates preparing for postgraduate entrance exams and is not directed at children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
